Trustees

Meet the TBBT Trustees.

  • Will Bentley

    Chair of Trustees

I’m the owner of creative digital agency bd2 and have known and worked with Mark for many years and within several businesses he’s either advised or work for directly. Working with him I’ve learnt about issues surrounding food waste and food insecurity. It’s been very rewarding to see the charity come to life, to see it working and start to achieve it’s goals. This is very evident when you visit the community hubs and see the benefit it brings to the families purchasing their food and hear the ways it’s helped in their lives.

  • Philip Kaye

    Treasurer

I was a partner and Vice Chairman at Deloitte LLP, one of the ‘Big 4’ professional services firms. I spent more than 30 years helping clients of all sizes deal with their challenges and realise their aspirations. Whilst my specialism was tax and auditing, I led specialist multi-national teams in many other areas, such as transformation, acquisitions and disposals, managing risks and implementing controls. The directors of my clients trusted me to manage the global resources of Deloitte (more than 300,000 people worldwide) to provide joined-up solutions. Prior to my business career, I lectured in music at Oxford University. I am still a recital-level organist.

  • Graeme Douglas

    Trustee

I have worked in food retail supply chain and online for about twenty years and have worked with Mark on a number of projects in the past. I've personally supported Shelter for a long time and come from a family that has a strong charitable background, Scottish Presbyterians. It's not just supporting people that appealed to me about TBBT but also the way the model helps reduce waste for the food industry.

  • Greg Sage

    Trustee

After a brief spell as a journalist, I have spent the last 25 years working in communications and corporate affairs roles, covering media, internal communications, government affairs and corporate social responsibility. I spent 13 years at Tesco, including nearly three years running the UK Community programmes which was when I first met Mark. I worked with TBBT during Covid when I worked at Greene King and have recently moved to Royal Mail where my role includes developing the company’s ESG strategy.

  • Inga Thordar

    Trustee

I was a journalist and editor for BBC and CNN running the digital teams and operations.
