When did you join TBBT?

July 2018.

What was your background before joining?

I have worked in customer service for over ten years, I used to manage a busy café in Manchester city centre.

 

What appealed to you about working for TBBT?

The chance to make a real change for families who need it. Working with a charity which is at the beginning of something amazing. I am excited to work with TBBT and help it grow.

 

What’s the best thing about your job?

Working with the community/meeting new people each week and working with the fantastic volunteers who help us do what we do.

 

What’s your own favourite type of food?

Any food is a big win with me... but if I had to choose it would be Italian food (pasta/pizza).

 

What signature recipe would you share with TBBT members?

Vegetarian Lasagne.

 

Your top tip for reducing food waste in the home:

Have a menu board in the kitchen and put up your meals for the week and ensure you only buy what you need to make the meals. Also, regularly check dates of food to see if you need to switch the meals about to ensure you don’t waste anything.
