The sensible one!
When did you join TBBT?
What was your background before joining?
I worked in offices in London for over 15 years, organising events, managing finances and office management.
What appealed to you about working for TBBT?
Having the opportunity to become a small part of such a wonderful organisation that helps so many vulnerable people get back on their feet, watching TBBT grow so quickly has been amazing to watch.
What’s the best thing about your job?
When I read a text message a member has sent in to say thank you, it’s a wonderful feeling knowing what a difference TBBT is making
What’s your own favourite type of food?
I love lots of flavours and sweet but savoury dishes.
What signature recipe would you share with TBBT members?
My famous spicy spaghetti Bolognese is always very popular!
Top tip for reducing food waste in the home:
I like to plan the meals my family has a week in advance, I write them on our wall planner so we know exactly what we need to buy at the supermarket each week. We also buy meat in advance and freeze it so we can use it as and when we need to.
