The busy one!
When did you join TBBT?
Around June/July 2019
What was your background before joining?
I have worked in food retail supply chain and online for about twenty years and have worked with Mark on a number of projects in the past.
What appealed to you about working for TBBT?
I've personally supported Shelter for a long time and come from a family that has a strong charitable background, Scottish Presbyterians. It's not supporting people that appealed to me about TBBT but the way the model not only helps reduce waste for the food industry but it also produces next to no waste itself.
What’s the best thing about your job?
It's great to see TBBT growing and my role is to help Mark and the team develop a robust and replicable model with social impact and low waste at the heart of it.
What’s your own favourite type of food?
Soup. It's really versatile and easy.
What signature recipe would you share with TBBT members?
Lamb neck and pearl barley soup, it's cheap and you can feed a big family with it on a budget.
